Join the California Department of Aging (CDA) on June 16 for the Aging with Pride webinar in honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month. The webinar will highlight findings from a recent survey designed to better understand the needs, challenges, and aspirations of LGBTQIA+ older adults. It will also include personal stories shared through focus group discussions.
Participants will gain insight into the lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ older adults and explore the broader policy landscape that shapes their lives.
Hear from Senator John Laird, CDA Director Susan DeMarois, and a panel of individuals involved in the survey as they offer perspectives and recommendations to help meet the needs of California’s growing aging population through the Master Plan for Aging.
