CITRIS Health Director David Lindeman has been invited to join a new research partnership among state agencies, academic institutions and philanthropic organizations.
The California Aging and Disability Research Partnership (CADRP) responds to recommendations in the state’s Master Plan for Aging, which called for a “nation-leading research partnership on aging with California’s universities.” The 15-member group will begin meeting in April 2022 to consider ways to advance age- and disability-focused research, identify key performance indicators and data sources for the Data Dashboard for Aging, and model a research partnership that could be replicated across other health and social issues. These objectives align perfectly with CITRIS Health’s mission and approach of bringing researchers, technologists and innovators together to share their best ideas and craft innovative solutions for healthy aging and other issues.
Stay tuned for more news about CADRP’s work as the group begins meeting this spring.
